  • Our client is a child development organisation that is focussed on achieving one objective to develop bright futures for as many children as possible through their experience.

    They are currently developing bright futures for over 65,000 children every single week in all areas of South Wales and South West England. They do this through the provision of quality assured subject specialists in P.E., Music, Drama & Art.

    The Role

    They need someone who would relish the challenge of making over 170 passionate people happy!! They need a dynamic and energetic individual who is able to develop and implement their employee engagement strategy across the business. This will involve supporting the internal and external brand whilst focusing on maximising levels of employee engagement and retention.

    They work very hard to recruit and train the right people and they now want to focus on retaining them in the business by developing, engaging and valuing them to the max. To do this they need someone who is able to see the big picture, communicate incredibly well and generally be an all round people person.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Organise and deliver employee events • Support communication campaigns across the business to promote engagement activities • Successfully implement all employee face to face meetings for key specialist team • Regularly review progress against employee survey results and drive local action • Build working relationships with Operational Management across the business to identify suitable engagement initiatives • Identify new and better ways of delivering against employee engagement strategy • Project manage employee engagement initiatives - to include management development programmes and training directed towards peoples goals.

    What do we need from you?

    • Passion and enthusiasm • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem solving skills and an analytical mind-set • Good organisation skills with proven ability to prioritise and make best use of resources • Ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally • Strong PC skills to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Flexibility is also important as this role will cover both of our offices and will involve some out of hours work • Driving is essential as this role will involve travel
